Overview
Colandrea Buick GMC is now hiring a Lot Attendant/Porter and become the friendly face that keeps our dealership running smoothly! In this energetic role, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers and visitors, ensuring vehicles are properly parked, maintained, and ready for delivery or service. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with vehicle parking in <LOCATION> parking areas, ensuring efficient flow and safety.
- Safely move vehicles around the lot using manual transmission driving skills and proper procedures.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lot, including parking spaces, walkways, and vehicle display areas.
- Assist with vehicle inspections, noting any damages or issues to ensure proper documentation before delivery or service.
- Support dealership staff by delivering vehicles to designated areas or customer locations as needed.
- Handle cash handling and cashiering duties for parking fees or related transactions with accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate vehicle movements and provide excellent guest services.
Experience
- Previous experience in dealership operations, retail math, or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Bilingual skills are a plus to assist a diverse customer base effectively.
- Valid driver’s license with experience driving manual transmission vehicles is essential; familiarity with <LOCATION> parking regulations is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members.
- Experience as a delivery driver or in hospitality roles can enhance your ability to excel in this position.
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
