Duties
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on spa equipment, including jets, pumps, heaters, and filtration systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using hand tools and power tools to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
- Conduct pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, balancing chemicals, and ensuring water quality standards are met
- Repair or replace faulty components to restore equipment functionality promptly
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance and future reference
- Assist in the setup and testing of new spa equipment or systems as needed
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during maintenance activities to protect yourself and others
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and maintenance
- Proven service technician experience, preferably in spa or pool environments
- Familiarity with pool maintenance, cleaning procedures, and water chemistry management
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment
- Ability to diagnose issues accurately and execute repairs efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks that involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
