Full job description
JDM Air Power Services Inc is looking to hire a shop assistant to our team. We specialize in Industrial fans and blower repair, dynamic balancing and mechanical services.
Duties
· Assist millwrights with jobs in the shop and in the field
. Clean and organize shop when its needed
· Balance rotating equipment in house
· Welding experience is an asset
· Check and restock service vehicles
· Deliver and pick up material, supplies etc.
Qualification
· Strong mechanical aptitude is an asset
· Ability to use hand tools and trade related tools
· GMAW, SMAW, GTAW welding experience is an asset
· Ability to work at heights
· Valid G drivers license and clean abstract
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
