Position Summary
The Shipping / Office Coordinator helps keep materials, deliveries, and communication organized between customers, vendors, and our internal team.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming deliveries and verify materials were received correctly.
- Communicate any shortages, damages, or missing items to the appropriate team members.
- Schedule deliveries with customers and coordinate shipment timing.
- Prepare delivery paperwork and maintain shipping records.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries.
- Enter information into company software and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate with production, purchasing, sales, and management to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Assist with inventory tracking and organization.
- Perform general office and administrative duties as needed.
- Support other departments and assist with special projects.
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
- Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email.
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
