Shipping Administrator (Shipper & Receiver)

CMP Group Ltd., a leading provider of Marine Products, Construction, and Industrial solutions is seekingShipping Administrator (Shipper & Receiver) on a full-time permanent basis for the Vaughn location.The Shipper/Receiver reports to and follows the instructions given by the Shipping/Receiving Team Leader within CMP Group Ltd, also conducts all duties associated with Shipping and Receiving goods in a SAFE and efficient manner. Works with the Quality Control SOPs to ensure all goods (incoming or outgoing) are inspected as per customer requirements.

Responsibilities

Complete knowledge of all products distributed by the Company

Knowledge of quality control processes, SOPs and work instructions related to Shipping/Receiving

Knowledge of the Company’s products sufficient to identify non conformance

Knowledge of assigned carriers and couriers with provided documentation

RF scanning, reading and filling out pick lists with necessary counts and shipment specs.

Maintain daily housekeeping responsibilities

Sound knowledge of TDG and WHMIS.

Ensure all goods are shipped/ received as per PO

Ensure all goods are scanned/picked as per Customer Pick List without supervision

Follow the Quality Control SOP to ensure all goods shipped are to the ordered specification and printed shipping labels/ other relevant documentation.

Ensure each order is inspected for accuracy and bill of ladings are complete and match each shipment when loading/offloading trucks

Performing cycle counts and variances

Load and unload trucks, including de-stuffing floor loaded ocean freight or hand loading customer orders

Daily forklift inspections and weekly battery maintenance.

Ensure all shipments are packed safely, neatly, to arrive at their destination intact and accurate

Effectively manage space and material flow to meet company objectives of timely delivery of product.

Receive incoming packages, perform inspections of goods received and route material to correct department.

Conduct inspections and execute red tag/quarantine process

Inspect customs paperwork and process shipments domestically and internationally.

Perform other job duties, as needed

Requirements

1-3 years of experience as a Shipper/Receiver in a warehouse and distribution environment

1-3 years of experience operating a counter balance, reach truck, order picker and experience using various forklift operator experience

RF scanner experience

Valid certification for Reach, Counterbalance, order picker and Propane forklifts

WHMIS and TDG certifications

Safety boots

Basic computer application skills and good mathematical and record keeping skills

Full understanding of computer programs. (Visual ERP System – Asset).

Hours

Monday to Friday

Day shift – 7am – 3:30pm
