Patio Systems is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Service Technician to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working independently. Unlike new construction installation, our Service Technicians focus on diagnosing issues, performing repairs, completing warranty work, and ensuring our customers continue to enjoy their outdoor living products long after installation.
What You’ll Do
As a Service Technician, you’ll serve as the field representative for our Service Department. You’ll travel to customer homes in a company vehicle, evaluate concerns, perform repairs, and document your findings for our office team.
Responsibilities
- Drive a company vehicle to scheduled service appointments
- Diagnose and repair issues with installed products
- Perform warranty and non-warranty service work
- Adjust, repair, or replace components as needed
- Take photos and document findings during service visits
- Communicate repair recommendations and field observations to our Service Coordinator
- Maintain accurate service records and job notes
- Manage company tools, equipment, and inventory
- Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism in customers’ homes

What We’re Looking ForRequired
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in construction, carpentry, service, maintenance, repairs, or a related trade
- Ability to work independently and manage your daily schedule efficiently
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
Preferred
- Experience performing warranty or service work
- Basic carpentry experience
- Familiarity with windows, doors, awnings, aluminum structures, or outdoor living products
- Experience interacting directly with customers
