Server/Bartender Jobs in Freeport, ME at Freeport Oyster Bar
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and experienced Server/Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent guest service, prepare and serve beverages, and assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in our restaurant/bar. You will be responsible for taking orders, delivering food and drinks, and ensuring that guests have a positive dining and/or bar experience. Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a warm and friendly manner
- Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate with kitchen staff and bartenders
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following established recipes
- Ensure compliance with all food and beverage regulations
- Provide guests with recommendations and answer questions about menu items
- Deliver food and drinks promptly, ensuring a pleasant dining experience
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any issues and concerns
- Clear tables and keep the bar area clean and organized.
- Process payments and manage transactions efficiently
- Maintain knowledge of bar inventory and restock supplies as needed
- Check guests’ identification to verify legal drinking age
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the bar area
Skills
- Resume and proven working experience as a bartender and server
- Excellent knowledge in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Excellent guest service and communication skills
- Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to work under pressure
- Positive attitude and reliability is a MUST.
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $7.50 per hour
