We are helping our global client in Brampton with a Sr Financial Analyst search. This is a full-time permanent role with a hybrid work model, benefits and more. This is a great opportunity for those from manufacturing/construction industries with strong costing/FP&A experience along with financial accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
- Analyze financial results against budget, forecast, and prior periods, identifying key trends and performance drivers.
- Collaborate with business leaders to validate assumptions and improve financial performance.
- Support forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning activities.
- Develop and maintain financial models for planning, forecasting, scenario analysis, and product costing.
- Analyze product costs, margins, and cost components, while partnering with Operations and Accounting to ensure costing accuracy.
- Perform ad hoc financial analyses and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Assist with insurance renewals, acquisitions, business integrations, and other strategic projects.
- Recommend and implement improvements to financial reporting, processes, controls, and data integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- CPA designation required.
- 5–10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, accounting, or corporate finance.
- Strong background in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting.
- Experience with product costing or cost modelling is preferred.
