Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Worker to join our team responsible for packaging parts coming off of our powder coating line. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging of products, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing process.
Responsibilities:
Packaging: Efficiently and accurately package parts as they come off the powder coating line according to established guidelines and procedures.
Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections of packaged parts to ensure they meet quality standards, identifying and addressing any defects or issues promptly.
Material Handling: Safely handle and transport packaged parts to designated storage areas using appropriate equipment and techniques.
Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by documenting packaged quantities and reporting any discrepancies or shortages.
Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including packaging stations and surrounding areas, to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks, troubleshoot problems, and meet production goals.
Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures to promote a safe and compliant work environment.
Employment Details:
Starting Wage: $22 per hour
Tuesday to Friday, 6am to 4:30pm
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs repetitively
You must be reliable, pleasant and can be trained
Ability to follow English written and spoken directions
Must have a Class 5 License (Public Transport is not available for early start time)
