Senior AI/ML Engineer Jobs in Richmond Hill at PharmaGuide
PharmaGuide is a Canadian pharmacy-technology company behind PHOX, a platform serving 1,000+ pharmacies including enterprise anchors like Walmart Canada and GreenShield. We’re building an AI-native intake agent that ingests prescription documents across every channel — fax, email, SMS, voicemail, upload — and drives them end-to-end through parsing, validation, and transaction fulfillment. We need a senior engineer to own the ML systems behind it.
You’ll design, train, and ship production ML/LLM features — document parsing, voice-to-text on medical content, contextual patient/prescriber matching, template memorization, and agentic orchestration — taking them from prototype to scaled deployment under real clinical-safety guardrails.
You bring:
- 5+ years building and shipping ML systems in production (not just notebooks)
- Strong Python; deep experience with LLM application patterns (RAG, structured output, evals, prompt/agent orchestration)
- Comfort with model serving, async pipelines, and queue-based architectures (RabbitMQ or similar)
- Experience deploying on cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred)
- Pragmatism — you optimize for what ships and holds up, not benchmark vanity
Nice to have: healthcare/pharma domain exposure, OCR or speech-to-text tuning, FHIR/health-data integration, fine-tuning experience, SOC 2 / regulated-environment work.
Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
