Job Title:

Security Professional

Salary: $35-$50/hour

Shifts:

12 hours

Schedule:

7on-7off, day/night rotation

Accommodations:
Hotel and $90 per diem provided

Overview:

Allied Universal is seeking experienced former military or Law Enforcement professionals for a short-term project in Edmonton. This role is crucial for ensuring the security and safety of the site and involves working in a 7 on – 7 off, day/night rotation with 12-hour shifts. Responsibilities:

Ensure the security and safety of the site.

Monitor and control access points.

Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies.

Collaborate with the team to maintain a secure environment.

Requirements:

Former military / police / peace officer / correctional officer

Must be able to commute to Edmonton Metropolitan area and neighboring town

Strong sense of responsibility andattention to detail

Valid Alberta Security License

Legally entitled to work in Canada for 40 hours in a week.

Effective written and oralcommunicationand interpersonal skills

Exceptional customer service andcommunication skills

Intermediate computer skills to operateinnovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.

Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.

Ability to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat.

Occasionally lift or carry up to 20 kilograms.

Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift.

Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.
