You are responsible for preparing and presenting food following the Denny’s menu, food specifications, and timing standards. Our team is made up of committed, caring, and energetic individuals who make every Denny’s location the great and diverse place it is. What You’ll DoYou will present food to servers in a timely manner while maintaining a very high-quality product for our guestsYou will help Denny’s achieve our mission by adhering to Denny’s Brand Standards, recipes and internal policies and proceduresYou will adhere to all federal, provincial, and local food handling regulationsYou will maintain food safety and follow food safe proceduresYou will perform other duties as required or assigned Who You AreYou have cooking experienceYou are able to read tickets, recipes and product specificationsYou are able to work with all Denny’s menu productsYou are an effective communicator in English, both orally and in writingYou are a team player, collaborative and attentiveYou are self-motivated, organized, and able to multitask effectivelyYou can lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 50 lbsYou can stand and walk throughout a 4 to 8 hour shiftYou must be able to legally work in Canada (as a citizen, resident or holding other current and valid work permit) SUMMATION: Submission of resume does not guarantee an interview or an actual transfer.
