We are currently hiring a dedicated Middle School School Psychologist to support students in grades 6–8 in Buffalo Grove, IL. The School Psychologist will work closely with educators, families, and special education teams to help students achieve academic, behavioral, social, and emotional success.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings
- Provide behavioral and emotional support strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents
- Assist with intervention planning and progress monitoring
- Support students with academic and social-emotional challenges
- Maintain accurate reports and compliance documentation
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate Degree in School Psychology
- Active Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) with School Psychologist endorsement
- Previous middle school experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a school-based environment
