Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Scalp Treatment Specialist to join our team at Golden Stone Med Spa. The ideal candidate will have a passion for scalp health, expertise in scalp treatments, and a commitment to delivering outstanding results to our clients. As a Scalp Treatment Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing customized scalp treatments and addressing various scalp concerns to promote healthy hair and scalp.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough scalp assessments and consultations to identify clients’ scalp concerns, such as dryness, dandruff, oiliness, irritation, or hair loss.
Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific scalp condition and individual needs, utilizing a combination of scalp treatments, therapies, and products.
Perform scalp treatments, including scalp massages, exfoliation, detoxification, hydration, and nourishment techniques, using specialized tools and high-quality products.
Educate clients on proper scalp care practices, including cleansing, exfoliating, moisturizing, and protecting the scalp from environmental damage.
Recommend scalp care products and home care routines to clients to help them maintain optimal scalp health and achieve desired results between spa visits.
Stay informed about the latest scalp treatment trends, techniques, and products, and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in treatment rooms and workstations, ensuring compliance with sanitation and hygiene standards.
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service, personalized attention, and follow-up care.
Collaborate with other spa team members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for clients and promote integrated wellness solutions.
Requirements:
Certification or training in scalp treatments, trichology, cosmetology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Proven experience in providing scalp treatments or hair care services in a spa, salon, or medical aesthetics setting.
Strong knowledge of scalp anatomy, physiology, and common scalp conditions, as well as treatment protocols and techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and provide clear and accurate explanations of scalp treatments.
Passion for helping clients achieve healthy hair and scalp and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced spa environment while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client appointments.
