Creek Brook CML: Sanitation Lead
DEPARTMENT: Sanitation
STATUS: Hourly, Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Sanitation Manager
Primary Purpose:
The Sanitation Manager is responsible for performing all duties related to cleaning and maintaining the appearance and hygiene of the production facility. This includes monitoring sanitation practices, overseeing equipment sanitation, and supporting safety and housekeeping programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assist production with maintaining cleanliness of the facility and equipment
· Monitor all production areas to identify and address sanitation concerns
· Ensure sanitation standards are consistently followed
· Clean, sanitize, and disassemble/reassemble equipment according to company procedures
· Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training
· Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and supplies
· Report injuries, accidents, or unsafe conditions immediately to supervision
· Respond quickly to sanitation calls, contamination events, or related issues to minimize downtime
· Promote safety and housekeeping practices with sanitation staff
· Identify unsafe conditions and help correct them
· Implement and monitor sanitation procedures and standards
· Establish and document sanitation goals and ensure they are reviewed regularly
· Address and correct non-conformities identified in quality programs
Qualifications:
· Must be 18 years or older
· Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift
· Must have reliable transportation
· Must understand and speak English
· Ability to work independently in a diverse setting
