Role Overview
Korn Ferry has partnered with an international chemical company, focused on the textile and paper industry, on a search for a Sales Representative – Chemicals & Additives.
The Sales Representative – Chemicals & Additives is responsible for driving sales growth by promoting and selling a portfolio of chemical products and performance additives to customers across industries such as manufacturing, coatings, plastics, food, or personal care. The role combines technical understanding with commercial execution to build strong customer relationships and deliver tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and manage new and existing customer accounts within the assigned territory or market segment.
- Promote and sell chemical products and additives by understanding customer processes, needs, and technical requirements.
- Provide product recommendations and solutions that enhance customer performance, efficiency, or product quality.
- Maintain regular contact with customers through visits, calls, and presentations to strengthen relationships.
- Generate and manage a sales pipeline, including prospecting, quoting, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Collaborate with technical support, R&D, and supply chain teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product fit.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics to identify opportunities.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and updates using CRM systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety, handling, and regulatory requirements related to chemical products.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 2–5+ years of sales experience, ideally within chemicals, additives, or related industrial sectors.
- Basic to strong understanding of chemical products and their industrial applications.
- Experience working with B2B customers and technical sales environments is an advantage.

Salary: $90k -110k and total compensation is $120k-125k
