Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private clients, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.
Introduction:
Robertson is seeking a skilled IT – Business Analyst IV to join our client in support of an existing vacancy.
Contract Period: 6 months
Pay Rate: Starting from $40 per hour
Location: Toronto, ON
Location Type: Hybrid
Business Hours: Monday-Friday; core business hours
Job Responsibilities:
- Define API requirements and integration specifications
- Document data flows and mappings (source transformation target
- Translate business pricing rules into technical requirements
- Work closely with pricing, analytics, and engineering teams
- Write detailed user stories, functional specs, and acceptance criteria
- Support UAT, release planning, and production validation
Experience & Qualification Requirements:
- 10+ years as a Technical Business Analyst in system integration or API programs
- Experience defining API requirements, contracts, and data flows
- Strong skills in data mapping (source transformation target)
- Ability to translate business rules into clear technical specifications
- Experience writing detailed functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Experience in banking, mortgages, or pricing/rate systems
- Familiarity with segmentation models or analytics-driven use cases
- Experience working with data teams (analytics, data science)
- Exposure to API design standards (REST conventions, versioning)
- Experience Supporting UAT and production rollout
