Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role located in Ottawa, ON. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. Key tasks include setting sales targets, tracking performance, overseeing a sales team, and collaborating with management to ensure revenue growth. The role also requires comprehensive knowledge of services offered at the physiotherapy and wellness center.
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

Duties
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies, marketing plans, and promotional activities to increase store traffic and revenue
- Oversee daily store operations including merchandising, pricing, inventory purchasing, and POS management
- Manage payroll, budgeting, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks to ensure operational efficiency
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff to build a skilled and motivated team
- Monitor sales performance metrics; analyze data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, updates, and training sessions on product knowledge and sales techniques
- Maintain store appearance in accordance with company standards; ensure compliance with safety regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or sales management with supervising responsibilities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Proficiency in POS systems, merchandising software, cash handling, and basic bookkeeping
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in team management and training & development
- Knowledge of marketing strategies, pricing policies, budgeting, and store operations
- Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and customers; experience in purchasing is advantageous
- Skilled in customer service with a professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Strong math skills for sales analysis, pricing adjustments, and financial recordkeeping
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing candidates, supervising staff performance, and conducting training sessions
