Safety Clerk / Driver Logs Coordinator

We’re looking for a Safety Clerk / Driver Logs Coordinator to manage driver logs, compliance documentation, and safety records. This is a fast-paced position for someone who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and doesn’t need constant supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and review driver logs (ELDs/HOS)
- Identify and correct log violations
- Communicate with drivers regarding log issues
- Maintain driver qualification and compliance files
- Assist with DOT and FMCSA compliance requirements
- Track safety documentation and deadlines
- Support onboarding and driver paperwork
- Assist with accident, inspection, and violation records
- Work closely with operations and management teams
Qualifications:
- Transportation, safety, or administrative experience preferred
- Knowledge of ELDs, Hours of Service, and DOT regulations is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Proficient with computers and Google sheets
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic
