Role Description The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring guest rooms and surrounding areas are clean, well-presented, and welcoming in accordance with resort standards. This full-time, on-site role is located in Chilliwack, BC, and involves daily tasks such as making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, replenishing linens and amenities, and restocking supplies. Room Attendants inspect rooms for maintenance issues, report any damage or safety concerns, and ensure that all cleaning procedures follow health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Housekeeping and Clean Rooms skills, with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in guest rooms and public areas.
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
- Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to follow established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and move carts or equipment for extended periods; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping is an asset but not required; training will be provided for enthusiastic candidates.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
