Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Roofer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on roofing projects, possess strong carpentry and handyman skills, and be comfortable working at heights. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial buildings, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Candidates should be physically capable of heavy lifting and using various hand tools to complete tasks efficiently. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace roofing materials such as shingles, metal panels, or membranes
- Use hand tools including hammers, saws, and caulking guns to perform roofing tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofs
- Assist with framing, carpentry, and other construction-related tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean work site by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries during roofing operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in roofing of apartment, construction, carpentry, or handyman work is preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, saws, caulking guns, and other construction equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and technical instructions accurately
- Physical strength to perform heavy lifting and work at heights for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
- Prior experience with waterproofing or caulking is a plus
- Valid driver’s license is preferred but not required

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
