Job Title: Field Operator
Position: Full Time
Job Summary
The Field Operator safely participates in the operations and maintenance of our water and wastewater treatment facilities and distribution systems.
Duties
Responsibilities include: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair D&M WSC water and wastewater systems. Safeguard compliance with TCEQ regulations and standards with water quality testing and chemical treatment. Monitor, operate and maintain equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
Conditions of Employment
Must have and maintain a valid Texas class C driver’s license
Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
Must pass a pre-employment criminal background and driving history check.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
A TCEQ class “C” Groundwater license is preferred or the ability to acquire a class “D” within one year of employment and a class “C” within three years of employment.
Heavy equipment operation and maintenance experience is preferred.
