Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of construction sites, ensuring all tools and materials are organized and accessible.
- Support construction management by collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines.
- Participate in budgeting activities by tracking expenses related to utility work and reporting discrepancies.
- Aid in road construction & maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct quality control checks on materials and work performed to ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Assist in contract management by maintaining accurate records of work performed.
- Engage in project scheduling activities, coordinating with other trades to minimize downtime.
Skills
- Experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of construction management principles.
- Familiarity with road construction techniques and safety standards.
- Knowledge of HeavyJob software for project documentation.
- Ability to perform quality control checks, identifying issues before they escalate.
- Understanding of contract management processes relevant to utility operations.
- Effective project scheduling skills, coordinating tasks across multiple teams for optimal workflow.
