Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring properties affected by water, fire, or mold damage. You will play a crucial part in helping clients recover from unfortunate events by utilizing your expertise in the restoration industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Duties
- Assess and evaluate damage to properties, including water damage, fire damage, and mold growth.
- Develop and implement restoration plans in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Respond to work orders in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
- Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification to minimize further damage.
- Remove and dispose of damaged materials, such as carpet, drywall, and insulation.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and tasks.
- Clean and sanitize affected areas to prevent the spread of mold and bacteria.
- Repair and restore damaged structures, including flooring, walls, and ceilings.
- Document work performed and maintained accurate records of restoration projects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with team members and customers.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Valid driver’s license.
- IICRC certification in Water Damage Restoration and Applied Structural Drying preferred.
