We are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our rendering facility team on 1st shift. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
Candidates must have basic mechanical knowledge, a strong work ethic, and their own tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and minimize downtime
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections
- Repair motors, pumps, conveyors, belts, bearings, and related equipment
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and policies
- Communicate equipment issues with supervisors and production staff
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance or industrial maintenance experience preferred
- Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial environment
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
