About the Role
We are seeking an incorporated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) for a possible full-time temporary fixed-term travel nursing contract in the Renfrew area. This role offers flexibility with hours ranging from 16 to 40 hours per week based on facility needs and your availability.
Compensation & Perks
- Base Rate: $45.00 per hour (+ HST if applicable).
- Travel Allowance: An additional 2 hours paid at the base rate for every shift worked, regardless of the shift length.
- Holiday Pay: Time and a half (1.5x) for holidays worked. (Note: This is an independent contractor role; holidays are on a strictly no-work, no-pay basis).
Schedule & Contract Details
- Term: 3 months, with the possibility of extension depending on facility needs.
- Hours: Casual. Shifts are scheduled or picked up on a flexible basis (16–40 hours/week). There are no guaranteed or fixed hours.
Requirements
- Valid RPN license in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Valid business license (Applicant must be incorporated).
- Must meet and complete all initial facility requirements and clearances prior to final acceptance.
- Experience: Previous experience as a travel nurse in a long-term care facility is preferred but not required.
