Customer Service Representative

Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Customer Service Supervisor, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing an excellent customer experience after possession by resolving warranty issues with homeowners in a professional and courteous manner.
Responsibilities:
The duties of the Customer Service Representative include:
· Interacting with customers in a courteous manner, processing warranty claims, and responding to customer complaints
· Establishing and maintaining positive internal and external customer relationships
· · Ensuring customer issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner, meeting customer satisfaction
· Educating homeowners on all products and warranties and the procedures for requesting warranty repairs
· Participating in root-cause analysis of issues and sending recommendations to the warranty manager
· Problem solving as issues arise
Requirements:
- Experience in construction or home-building industry strongly preferred
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Must be an excellent communicator with a professional, friendly demeanour
- Able to remain calm under stressful circumstances
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook)
