Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) – Maternity Leave Coverage (18-Month Contract) Jobs in Fergus at Autism Behavioural Services Inc
Autism Behavioural Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) to join our team for an 18-month maternity leave coverage contract, starting in mid August 2026. This full-time, in-person position offers the opportunity to work with children, youth, and families in a supportive, client-centred environment focused on meaningful outcomes and high-quality ABA services.
Position Summary
The Registered Behaviour Analyst will provide clinical oversight and supervision of ABA services, including assessment, treatment planning, staff training, caregiver collaboration, and ongoing monitoring of client progress. The successful candidate will supervise Instructor Therapists, collaborate with families and community partners, and contribute to a positive, team-oriented clinical environment.
This position primarily requires daytime availability, with some evening availability required to accommodate family meetings, supervision, and service needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct behavioural assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide clinical supervision and oversight of ABA programming
- Train, mentor, and supervise Instructor Therapists
- Monitor client progress and make data-based treatment recommendations
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, schools, and community partners
- Develop and review behaviour support plans and skill acquisition programs
- Support the implementation of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and collaborate with families and professionals to promote effective communication outcomes
- Complete clinical documentation, reports, and other relevant documentation/records
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development activities
- Ensure services are delivered in accordance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Registration in good standing as a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) in Ontario
- BCBA certification considered an asset
- Minimum 2 years of experience providing ABA services to children and youth with autism and/or developmental disabilities
- Experience supervising Instructor Therapists and providing clinical leadership
- Demonstrated experience supporting clients who use AAC systems is required
- Experience with Skills-Based Treatment (SBT) is considered an asset
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence and reliable transportation preferred
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check
Schedule
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Primarily daytime hours
- Some evening availability required
