Sign Maker/Installer/Painter Jobs in Norcross, GA at Gom Signs
We make signs. Storefronts, channel letters, monument signs, ADA, wayfinding — across metro Atlanta. We’re hiring someone who can build them in the shop and/or install them on site.
What you’ll do
- Fabricate signs from vinyl, acrylic, aluminum, and PVC using shop equipment (CNC router, vinyl cutter, laminator, press brake)
- Install signs on-site: wall-mounts, monuments, pole signs, channel letters, interior signage, etc
- Operate a bucket truck or scissor lift when needed (we’ll train if you don’t have it)
- Paint, finish, and prep substrates — match colors, lay vinyl clean, no bubbles
- Load out, drive to job sites, and represent GOM in front of the customer
- Keep the shop clean and your tools accounted for
You should have
- 1+ year in a sign shop, print shop, or trades work (carpentry, electrical, GC, body shop all count)
- Valid GA driver’s license, clean record (you’ll drive the truck)
- Comfortable on ladders, lifts, and rooftops
- Can lift 50+ lbs and work outside in heat/cold
- Show up on time, every time
Nice to have
- Bucket truck or scissor lift experience
- Adobe Illustrator basics (reading files, not designing)
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Korean
- Electrical for illuminated signs
What we offer
- $15–$25/hr based on experience, biweekly pay
