Position Summary:

As a Warehouse Receiver, you will be receiving packaged goods from delivery trucks onto our dock and transferring to designated receiving locations according to United Trimen standards and customer requirements. Primarily receiving courier, and backhaul deliveries; as well as helping with putting away items, and other duties as assigned.

Shifts:

Mon- Fri 9am – 5:30pm
$20.75 per hour

Essential Functions:

Receive packaged goods from delivery trucks

Verify goods received against bills of lading or purchase orders

Separate, count and affix receiving labels on received product

Secure and transfer received product with forklift from dock area to designated storage area in a timely manner

Cut and remove all packing materials (wrap, cardboard corners, strapping)

Receive inventory as per the WMS pallet label

Scan all pallet tags into WMS inventory

Verify pack size thru WMS item description.

Identify damage at point of receipt contact supervisor

Ensure vendor BOL balances with WMS P.O.

Ensure closure of daily WMS P.O.’s

Operate an end/mid rider truck, dockstocker and other powered equipment safely and efficiently

Clean up area at the end of each shift

Maintain a safe working environment

Take pride in producing top quality workmanship to satisfy our customer’s needs

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

High School / Equivalent is preferred

2+ years of warehousing/ machine operating experience preferred

Must have a desire to work in a fast paced, team environment

Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends during busy periods

Periodic lifting of products up to 50 lbs

Able to work with minimum supervision

Must be able to work in a team environment, as well as independently

Must be in good physical condition and enjoy manual work

Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Equipment / Tools / Technology:

Must be able to operate a forklift or pallet jack and understand the basic functions of an RF handheld computer
