Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Burlington, ON, for a Project Estimator. The Project Estimator will be responsible for developing accurate project cost estimates, analyzing construction plans, and creating budgets based on project requirements. The role involves collaborating with project managers, vendors, and clients to ensure cost-effective solutions and accurate project proposals. Additional responsibilities include monitoring project progress and refining estimates as necessary to accommodate changes or unforeseen variables.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Cost Management, Budgeting, and effective allocation of resources
- Proficiency in Construction Estimating and Project Estimation methodologies
- Strong Communication skills to work efficiently with clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking to ensure accuracy in all aspects of project estimates
- Proficiency in relevant software tools used for estimation and budgeting
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in construction, project estimation, or a related role is an asset
