We are known for quality craftsmanship, strong communication, and reliable execution. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Project Estimator to join our team.
Position Overview
The Project Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bid proposals for multifamily and commercial exterior projects.
This is a full-time remote position, with periodic company and project meetings (virtual and occasional in-person attendance as required).
Key Responsibilities
• Review architectural and structural drawings to perform detailed quantity take-offs
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for exterior scopes of work
• Analyze project specifications, addendums, and tender documents
• Solicit and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing
• Support bid preparation and proposal submissions
• Maintain organized estimate documentation and cost tracking
• Identify scope gaps, risks, and value engineering opportunities
• Collaborate with project managers and leadership during pre-construction
Qualifications
• 3+ years of construction estimating experience (Preferred Exterior Finishing specific experience)
• Proven experience performing quantity take-offs
• Experience with commercial and/or multifamily construction projects
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Proficiency with estimating software (Bluebeam, JobTread, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar)
• Strong Excel skills
• Highly detail-oriented and organized
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a remote environment
Compensation & Work Structure
• $70,000–$90,000 CAD annually (based on experience)
• Full-time remote/hybrid position
• Regular virtual and occasional in-person meetings
