The Project Coordinator is primarily responsible to ensure excellence in project execution while maintaining and strengthening positive relationships with customers and contractors working in the office and in the field. Other duties will evolve with capacity

Key Responsibilities:

Review Bid specifications, engineering reports and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate for RFPs, RFQs, and RFPs.  Preparation and submission of proposals and bids.  Create work plans for bid submissions.  Review insurance and bonding requirements and order required bid bonds, letters of credit etc.  Visit projects sites prior to bid when required, for traffic control, site access etc.

Conduct quantity take-offs in preparation of bids.  Obtain pricing from subcontractors and material suppliers.  Selection and maintenance of approved sub-contractors.  Develop and maintain relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers while ensuring that competitive pricing is being provided.  Attend pre-bid meetings on site to determine scope of work, when required.  Track and record pricing trends for bids submitted over the course of the year and previous years.

Track all tender opportunities and deadlines.  Create and organize project/contract information packages for Operations Team.  Assist Project Manager(s) with addressing customer requirements, permit and compliance requirements etc.  Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills &

Competencies:

Minimum 2 years experience with sewer construction and/or trenchless rehabilitation.  Knowledge of Cured in Place Pipe Lining and/or other trenchless technologies preferred.

Must be

proficient at reading drawings, specifications, and preparing various contract submittals.

Must be

able to work accurately and effectively under tight deadlines.  Proficient in MS Office suite
