Altis Recruitment is seeking an Events Project Coordinator for our client, nonprofit, on a 6 Month contract. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of primary health care projects, with a focus on serving First Nation communities.
Responsibilities
Provides senior-level advice and expertise in primary health care
project management
,
education
, and program planning, development, implementation, and evaluation.
Develops and fosters a
learning environment
enabling continuous improvements in service quality for Joint Project Board initiatives and primary care services, offering guidance and coaching to project team members.
Acts as an ambassador to Primary Care circles/networks in the Northern Region, attending relevant sessions, contributing expertise in cultural humility and safety
education
, and providing necessary research/resources for Primary care development and administration in First Nation contexts.
Develops detailed documentation, training, and tracking tools related to primary care project activities, ensuring effective
communication
and alignment among project stakeholders.
Leads and fosters the development and implementation of Primary Care programs and services in urban and remote First Nation communities, ensuring cultural sensitivity and
community engagement
.
Qualifications8+ years of related experience, including previous
leadership roles
, or equivalent combination of experience and
education
.
Recent, relevant, and significant experience in a health care environment with primary care planning, delivery,
project management
,
strategic planning
, and community/stakeholder engagement.
Experience working
with First Nations communities or organizations, including political
leadership
. SAP Ariba experience is not mandatory but considered advantageous.
