Main functions:
Maintain methods and schedules to achieve the company’s productivity objectives
Lead, coordinate and schedule the work for the production operators (caffeine and decaf production department)
Evaluate the performance of the operators of the departments once a year
Ensure the proper operation of production equipment
Execute demand for materials and supplies
Resolve any problems or labor issues that may arise during production activities
Recommend corrective actions using a continuous approach to improving productivity and product quality
Ensure data recording and control of documents and batch records at the end of each shift
Prepare production and other reports for the production operation
Participate in the execution of the quality system
Oversee the cleaning crew and ensure cleanliness of the place
Write the operating procedures
Train new staff: procedures, safety procedures, company policies and ensure documentation of staff training
Execute other functions or special project if required
Skills:
Education: Chemical Engineering degree, Chemistry degree or 5 + years working in food production manufacturing.
Years of experience related to the job: 2+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical or food processing environment. 1-2 years experience managing a team. Have good expertise in equipment such as reactors, filter presses, centrifuges, dryers and machine tools. Have a good knowledge of the cGMP environment. AT
Language: write and speak fluently English, French
Professional qualifications:
The candidate should have a good sense of initiative with strong interpersonal, organizational and technical skills.
The candidate must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
He/She must demonstrate a goal-oriented approach to problem solving in a multicultural environment.
Strong analytical and communication skills are important.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
