Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for food preparation and service. Duties
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and kitchen areas throughout shifts
- Ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning to prevent contamination
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting the kitchen staff
- Follow health and safety standards related to food handling and sanitation
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with company policies
- Support the team during busy service times to ensure smooth operations
Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and food handling standards is advantageous
- Experience with kitchen operations, including food preparation or cooking, is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role
