Duties
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned with customer orders, inventory levels, and capacity constraints using Excel and Quickbooks Manufacturing.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including manufacturing, procurement, and logistics to ensure timely procurement of materials and smooth workflow.
- Utilize demand planning and forecasting techniques to anticipate production needs and adjust schedules proactively.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control strategies to minimize excess stock while avoiding shortages.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
- Manage MRP (Material Requirements Planning) activities to optimize material availability and production sequencing.
- Track key performance indicators related to production planning, supply chain efficiency, and inventory accuracy; report findings regularly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in control panel or electrical product production.
- Strong proficiency with Excel and Quickbooks Manufacturing or similar platforms for production planning and inventory management.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Expertise in demand planning, forecasting, and MRP processes to align production with market needs.
- Familiarity with inventory management techniques including inventory control and cycle counting practices.
- Ability to analyze data accurately and develop actionable insights for continuous improvement.
