We are partnering with a growing food and beverage manufacturer in the Mississauga area to hire a Procurement Manager to support their expanding operations.

You will work closely with cross-functional partners to strengthen daily operations, support capacity growth, and help build a productive, well-coordinated manufacturing environment. This role will play a key part in ensuring continuity of supply, cost control, and vendor performance across a fast-paced, high-volume production setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead purchasing activities across raw materials, packaging, and indirect spend
  • Develop and manage supplier relationships, including negotiations and performance tracking
  • Ensure continuity of supply to meet production schedules and customer demand
  • Partner with operations, production, QA, and supply chain teams to align procurement strategies
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and support budgeting initiatives
  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier risk
  • Support inventory optimization and reduce waste/obsolete stock
  • Drive continuous improvement within procurement processes and systems

Requirements:

• At least 7 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain leadership roles.

• Experience in Food and Beverage manufacturing is required

• Strong understanding of materials handling, procurement workflows, and inventory-related processes.

• Experience sourcing and procuring imported ingredients
