Luke Havekes Design is seeking a motivated and highly detail-oriented Procurement & Logistics Coordinator to join our team on a 14-month contract, with possibility for conversion to a permanent position. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in procurement and operations who is eager to contribute to a small, dynamic team working on international projects.
Position Overview
The Procurement & Logistics Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting day-to-day studio operations and project execution. Working in close collaboration with the rest of the LHD team, the successful candidate will help ensure the seamless execution of all operational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Logistics:
- Own the procurement process end-to-end: confirm specifications and pricing, place orders, and track all items through to final delivery and installation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement documentation and order logs
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and tradespeople to confirm lead times, production status, and shipping details
- Manage all logistics including freight coordination, delivery scheduling, and installation timelines
- Proactively resolve delays, damages, or discrepancies
- Coordinate communication and delivery between internal team members, vendors, warehouse, and clients
Operations:
- Assist in the creation of client budgets, estimates, and invoices
- Support accounting and bookkeeping activities by providing documentation as required
- Process client payments and make vendor payments on a biweekly basis
- Participate in weekly team meetings and support project management activities
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in procurement, logistics, or a similar role
- Meticulous, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive mindset
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt easily to changes
- Educational background in business or a related field
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Experience in the interior design industry (an asset)
- Valid driver’s license (an asset)
- Bilingual (English and French)
Contract Details
- 14-month fixed-term contract
- Start date: June 1st, 2026
- Potential for conversion to permanent role based on performance and business needs
