Responsibilities
- Conduct regular pool maintenance including water testing, chemical balancing, and equipment checks to ensure safe and clean swimming conditions
- Perform thorough pool cleaning tasks such as skimming debris, vacuuming surfaces, brushing walls, and cleaning filters using appropriate hand tools and power tools
- Diagnose and repair pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and circulation systems to minimize downtime
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues efficiently and perform necessary repairs or replacements of faulty components
- Maintain detailed service records of all inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities for client documentation and compliance purposes
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance procedures to protect yourself and others from hazards
- Assist with seasonal opening and closing procedures to prepare pools for high usage periods or winterization
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex pool systems and components
- Experience with equipment repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance in a pool or service technician role
- Proficiency in pool maintenance tasks including chemical balancing, water testing, cleaning, and filtration system care
- Skilled in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers as well as power tools necessary for repairs
- Familiarity with pool cleaning equipment like vacuums, skimmers, brushes, and automated systems
- Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail while managing multiple service appointments
- Knowledge of safety standards related to pool maintenance and equipment handling

Pay: $18.00 – $35.00 per hour
