Leyman Distributors, a division of Northern Metalic Sales, is Grande Prairie’s premier hose manufacturer and distributor. We provide hoses for a wide array of applications and offer a large inventory of quality hose, fitting and related accessory options for all sectors of industry.
We are currently seeking an individual to fill the position of Hose Technician.
The Hose Technician is a key role within Leyman Distributors that focuses on customer service, attention to detail and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
The Hose Technicians primary responsibilities are, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assembles industrial & hydraulic hoses in accordance with manufacturers specifications.
- Visually inspects completed assemblies to established standards.
- Interacts professionally with internal and external customers.
- Stock handling and inventory management.
- Picking and packaging customer orders
- Loading/Unloading trucks.
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace.
- Trains in all aspects of Hose construction
- Completes miscellaneous shop duties as required.
- Answering phones and taking walk in requests.
- Loading and unloading industrial hoses and assemblies.
- High degree of accuracy and an eye for detail. Ability to safely lift, push, pull and know when to ask for help.
