Schedule 8+ Hours/day, Fab Shop Monday-Saturday, Schedule as per Operational Requirements, OT after 8hr/day or 40hr/week

Location Fab Shop 7331 – 18 Street NW, Edmonton, AB – no direct access to public transportation.
Essential Hard-working, reliable, flexible with schedule, ability to work in physically demanding conditions
Requirements
- Personal Reliable Vehicle
- CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support
- Previous experience in a fabrication shop
Pre-employment
- Drug and alcohol testing swab-based
- Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation
- Mask Fit Testing
Apprentice Pipefitter Responsibilities
- Must be proficient with measuring, cutting, threading, grinding and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
- Read and interpret blue prints and drawings.
- Utilize oxy/acetylene hand torches, grinders, and bevellers in an efficient and safe manner.
- Use proper rigging techniques.
- Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.

Apprentice Qualifications
- Must have a valid Journey person certificate
- Must be actively registered in the AIT program and working towards obtaining Journeyman or Red Seal Equivalent Steamfitter – Pipefitter Ticket.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Experience with hydro testing is required.
