Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Physiotherapist based in Cobourg, ON. The Physiotherapist will assess, diagnose, and develop customized treatment plans for clients with various physical conditions or injuries. Key responsibilities include educating clients on preventative measures, collaborating with multidisciplinary team members, monitoring progress, and updating treatment plans as needed. The role involves delivering hands-on therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices, and contributing to overall client care and recovery.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for diverse physical conditions.
- Hands-on therapy skills, including experience with manual therapy and rehabilitation techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and engage with clients.
- Commitment to applying evidence-based practices and staying updated on the latest physiotherapy techniques and research.
- Registration and good standing with the provincial college of physiotherapists in Ontario (or eligible to register).
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently.
- Experience with sports injuries, chronic pain management, or orthopaedic conditions is a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
