Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Manager to join our Spencer’s Pharmacy , location in Oxbow, Saskatchewan. Spencer’s Pharmacy has been in operation since 1894, the store is not large but has provided the community with a wide variety of merchandise and services over the years. It is the place to go for prescriptions, other healthcare items. Spencer’s Pharmacy is currently providing care to residents of two long –term care facilities.

* Position Details:
* * Up to 40 hrs / week
* PT/FT option
* Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm NO WEEKENDS!

Responsibilities:
* The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for providing safe, effective, and appropriate drug therapy and actively contributes to an environment of employee and
customer engagement
. The Pharmacy Manager will play a key role in achieving departmental excellence in the areas of patient focused care, customer service and workflow efficiencies.
* Focus on clinical services (i.e., medication reviews, disease state management)
* Initiate care plans, follow up and document
* Administer vaccines
* Determine appropriateness of drug therapy
* Monitor medication adherence
* Collect and document relevant patient, drug, and disease information
* Recommend OTC products and vitamins
* Answer questions from patients that require therapeutic knowledge, clinical analysis, or assessment
* Supervise a pharmacy student or a provisional pharmacist in the performance of restricted activities
* Qualifications & Skills :
* * Licensed and in good standing with College of Pharmacists of Saskatchewan
* Minimum 1 year of prior experience as a Pharmacy Manager (preferred)
* Possess
entrepreneurial
abilities and a will to grow the business
* Ability to lead, coach, and encourage staff
* Capability to collaborate with the front-store staff to find possibilities for patient care
* Good verbal and written
communication skills
* Strong organizational skills and
attention to detail
* Self-directed and able to work independently.
* Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of
professionalism
