What an important role the Pharmacy Assistant plays ! The customer’s experience of the pharmacy primarily relies on the services of the Pharmacy Assistant. Working in a Pharmacy means continuous contact with ones who are in need for love, mercy and compassion, whether customers are children , adults or seniors. They all need the professional pharmaceutical health care service.
Responsibilities:
The Pharmacy Assistant will assist in providing pharmacy services, under the direction of the Pharmacist. This includes:
* Scanning and filing prescriptions.
* Answering patient inquiries and requests over the phones
* compounding, packaging and labeling pharmaceutical products,
* maintaining prescription records
* billing insurance companies
* maintaining good level of inventory of medications and pharmaceutical products.
* Manage incoming faxes and contacting physician’s offices where needed.
Qualifications:
*Experience is an asset but not necessary
* Bilingual .. French and English
* High attention to details, accuracy and productivity.
* Reliable character , have strong communication skills and customer service.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $17.00-$24.00 per hour
