Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of 4-5 employees during the testing phase and hypercare post go-live.

• Collaborate closely with

cross-functional teams

to define project scope, objectives, training, and timelines.

• Lead the payroll testing process, including test planning, test case creation, execution, and defect management.

• Coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth data integration.

• Monitor and troubleshoot any issues during the deployment phase.

• Provide training and support to end-users with the new process from Workday to the payroll systems.

• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to payroll processing.

• Document processes, procedures, and best practices for future reference.

• Attend meetings in Australia with

flexibility

, primarily scheduled within the local time zone.

• Be prepared for potential overtime requirements and demonstrate

flexibility

with working hours to accommodate project needs. What you will need to succeed:

• High level of expertise in payroll processes to effectively support the team in end-to-end payroll processing during testing and deployment.

• Subject matter proficiency in end-to-end payroll processes, encompassing employee data management, query resolution, and related tasks.

• Familiarity with the intricacies of local compensation types and eligibility criteria.

• Knowledge of the interdependencies between employee compensation and payroll functions.

• Experience with systems and processes in relevant areas, along with understanding integration points with other processes.

• Familiarity with Workday and SAP Payroll, with experience being considered an asset.

• Experience in data analysis,

process improvement

, process design, and

change management

• Experience with Workday, particularly in testing and integration.

• Demonstrated

project management

skills.

• Solid grasp of process simplification and standardization principles.

• Ability to comprehend data privacy considerations within business processes.
