More About The Role:
Verify parts orders and shipments, receiving parts and correctly placing them in inventory
Load and unload all parts deliveries
Process paperwork and maintain accurate records for reporting and tracking
Assist all customers in selecting and locating required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner
Provide information regarding parts, including their function, prices, application and warranty
Take orders for parts by telephone, technician counter, retail counter and wholesale accounts
Pull and fill orders from stock, ensuring that payment is received from retail customers and that parts are billed on the service repair order for internal customers
Research the availability of parts either within the dealership or from other sources as necessary
Other duties as assigned
Ideal Requirements:
MUST be able to lift up to 50lbs. This is a physical job that involves being versatile and on your feet for majority of the day, while consistently lifting/carrying/pulling heavy parts.
Have a strong interest in parts, and possess a willingness to learn, be open to new ideas and have a desire to continually grow and improve
Possess a strong work ethic with a can-do attitude
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
Exceptional customer service and communication skills including the ability to use tact, sensitivity, empathy, and professionalism when interacting with customers and employees over the phone and in person.
Previous parts experience in the automotive or a related field is not necessary, as we are willing to train the right person
Valid Driver’s License
