Crema Ice Cream is a family-owned local business dedicated to crafting exceptional small-batch ice cream, inspired by fun and creative international flavour combinations.
Our food truck and ice cream carts operate across the Lower Mainland at a variety of private and public events. We’re looking for friendly, motivated, and hardworking team members to join us as part-time Ice Cream Scoopers and Front of House staff for the Summer Season, starting immediately. This is a seasonal position to work weekends, and holidays and would be ending at the end of September.
This role is for you if you love ice cream, thrive in fast-paced environments, and takes pride in delivering standout customer experiences. You also have a strong arm to sling scoops while keeping positive vibes throughout busy days.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver a welcoming, high-quality customer experience at every interaction
- Engage customers, make recommendations, and drive sales
- Accurately process orders using POS systems, card terminals, and cash handling
- Scoop ice cream efficiently and assist in preparing menu items, including milkshakes and specialty desserts
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and FoodSafe standards at all times
- Support opening and closing procedures for the food truck and event setups
- Support a busy Burnaby store front when needed

Qualifications
- 1-2+ years experience in fast-paced retail, food service, or hospitality
- FoodSafe Level 1 (preferred)
- Post Secondary Education or equivalent
- Must have weekends and stat holidays available for daytime and evening shifts during the months of June to September
- Second language is an asset
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods (4+ hours)
- Repetitive use of hands, wrists, and arms
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
