With over 50 retail stores across the country, Urban Barn is a national retail chain offering high-quality furniture and home décor. Accompany and guide customers to find inspiring furniture and home décor during their visit to our store. As a Sales Consultant, you will represent Urban Barn by offering friendly service and
product knowledge
to help our customers create a space they love to call home. In collaborating with the store team and managers, you will provide our customers with the best shopping experience possible.
Our stores are open 7 days a week, so we’re looking for candidates who can work a variety of shifts (i.e. weekdays, weeknights and weekends). If you love beautiful home décor and helping people, come put your passion to work at Urban Barn!
What You Will Do:
Guide customers in their décor choices, suggesting the best products for their needs Provide a warm greeting to every customer
Establish connections with customers to build
customer loyalty
Carry out transactions (purchases, exchanges, and returns)
Maintain the visual standards and cleanliness of the store
What you Bring:
At least 2 years of Retail Sales experience
A passion for interior décor and
merchandising
Ease of using technology such as a Point-of-Sale system and iPadFlexible schedule to work a minimum of 3 days (12-20 hours) per week – including at least 1 weekend and 1 weekday daytime shift
