Serpa Motorsports (Yamaha & Suzuki Retailer) + Serpa Automotive Boutique (Independent Luxury Automotive Retailer)
Job Summary:
Serpa Motorsports (Yamaha & Suzuki OEM- Yamaha Elite Dealer 2023 +2024) & The Serpa Automotive Boutique have an exciting opportunity for the Controller position. The position is responsible for the management and administration of all accounting, reporting, and government compliance requirements.
Minimum 2 years of Finance/Accounting experience or equivalent demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the overall operation.
CDK / CDK Lightspeed experience is an asset.

Responsibilities(not limited to):
Daily Banking reconciling
Create, analyze, and finalize the dealer’s month-end financial statement
Produce and examine expense reports
Post and maintain monthly standard entries
Reconcile monthly rebates from the applicable Manufacturer
Work alongside departmental managers for Bank Audits
Lien Payouts/Vehicle Purchases; Prepare Checks accordingly
Oversee and prepare the monthly floor plan report for use in commission calculations; manage the payoff of the vehicle floor plan and work with bank representatives
Posting Deals for accurate commission and bonus’ as required
Additional accounting responsibilities that arise in the future
