We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. This position involves managing front desk responsibilities, performing nightly audits of financial transactions, and providing exceptional guest services. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while providing excellent customer service.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions throughout the night shift.
- Prepare reports summarizing daily activities, occupancy rates, and revenue generated.
- Ensure the safety and security of guests and hotel property during overnight hours.
- Assist with phone inquiries, providing information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
Skills
- Strong phone etiquette to handle guest calls professionally and courteously.
- Proven experience in guest services within the hospitality industry.
- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus for enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with front desk operations in a hotel setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Proficient in using phone systems and basic computer software for record keeping and reporting purposes.
